I have a 20 gallon tank that I had setup to grow out copepods for a mandarrin I decided not to get.. but I still have the tank set up with a 4" DSB and about 10lbs of LR.. I have a emperor 400 (it was laying around) and a 15W cheap cheap ***** hood.. Im planning on putting in a new hood with better lighting.. but I was wondering what other people put in a tank this small.. I was thinking soft corals.. mushrooms.. xenia.. polyps.. and maybe a GIANT clam (kidding) and inputs?? ~DANiel

i think you could keep whatever you want in the tank if you keep the water right. i have a 20g long with mushrooms and polyps doing very well. ;)

soft corals would probably be a good choice the ones you listed are fine stars and mushrooms do well in smaller tanks.. i set up a 2 gal with some stars and mushrooms in it and it looks great.. you could go for some macroalgeas as well.. good luck
