For water changes i have a Hang On Tank Magnum Canister Filter 250 for water polishing.
The tank was set up 11/28/08
Since then I have the 20 long with a Koralia 1, HOB Canister, Tunze 9002 running. NO FISH INSIDE!!! lol And have done a five gallon water changes second and fourth week of tank. Water perams are fine cycle is over. Still I plan on not adding fish till refuge and tank are one and running smooth.
I just ordered the overflow system from a glass hole. So I will be drilling two holes into my 20 long.
Both tanks will be exhibited!
I plan on having someone build me a refugium locally out of glass 26 x 12 x 12. I want to add my tunze 9002 skimmer in the first camber, the fuge in the second and my heaters/Mag3Return pump inside the 3rd chamber.
The only objects that will be inside the 20L are two Koralia 1's(each side), the overflow box, and return Loc-Line with a flared nozzle both on the same side. Plus the 30" T5 Sundial on top...
I have everything but the fuge or return pump as i'm still looking around?
Once i drill and plumb the refuge will I have to cycle everything again or do you think that by adding more water volume it will be like a big water change?
Do you think all this will work/function/make for a nice build???
