20g Long: Mini-Reef Startup

Okay, I am now about four months into this thing. ;)
Check it, got rid of the anemone. Got rid of the urchin, aquired a blonde Naso (nice!) but swiftly sent him packing...

hey justin nice looking tank but I have one question. Do you have a heat transfer problem seem to me you have a huge light for a small tank I guess whatever works. but keep up the good work!

Good question. The light gets hot, but there's airflow between the water and the light. I guess as long as you have flow, you should be ok.
I really love the way MH's make my tank "shimmer". I could have spent the same on a good VHO setup, but it would never satisfy me the way these MH's do. Plus, I really like how I have the "brighter" area in the center and have the dimmer regions in the back under rocks and sides.
My heater is set at 77 degrees. Pretty good heater, very satisfied with it. It's not an eyesore either like most of them are. Temperature never goes below 77 but on a HOT day (85 degrees or higher...) with the MH on my tank will heat up to about 80 degrees.
