20g underway

Father's Day gift was a 20g starter kit. Monday hit the lfs for some water, lr, ls, salt and more. Got everything going but had probs with filter. The Whisper PF that came with the kit didn't work so well (at all). Bought a new one (another post) and things are underway, water is finally clear. Going to take a sample to the lfs in the a.m. just to see where things are. The good thing is the not-so-excited to get an aquarium wife seems to be enjoying new addition. I overheard her on the phone telling mom it looks pretty and theres not even animals in it yet. Looking forward to that first livestock purchase. If I can find a camera I'll throw a pic up. Thanks to all who have answered questions along the way, I'm sure there are more to come.

did u get a high tank or a long tank, 20's come in 2 different styles. what kind of animals are you thinking of? coral?

joojoo, how does ur maroon and angel get a long. i was thinking about gettin both in my 20.

I have a maroon and coral beauty angel and they get along great. I was afraid at first as the angel was in there first then I added the maroon but all is fine. They are always swimming together.

hey, just wondering where you placed your powerhead.I put mine on the left side going across the tank in my 20gl. Im just not sure if thats the best place for it.
