20g Zoo Frag Tank

Well I hope to change from a mushroom tank to a zoo tank.
I did put blended mushrooms in there, but I think I blended too well, and I think the clay tile started an algae outbreak in the tank, so I'm going to put some astrea snails from ,my 125g, and cyphon out the sand and replace it with new sand and also put the rest of the sand in my 10g.
I'm going to take some water to the lfs to test it.
My lights are Nova Extreme T-5s 20"
Can anyone show me how to build a frag rack? Thanks.
I'll post pics of the "before" shot of tank covered in algae tomorrow so we can see how far it comes.

Egg crate and PVC piping. Use plastic slide ties to attach the legs. You can make any shape you need and as many levels.

I also saw some that are made of just eggcrate and cable ties.
I like the pvc pipe and eggcrate though, looks nicer.

Bump.
Now that I think about doing that, grumpy gills, can you explain the plastic slide thing better? Thanks.

Just talked to a guy from TONMO who I bought a dwarf octo from and we talked a little. Point is, I'm going to have some lr on the bottom and have 6 dwarf octos in there and breed them!

Oh I bought one last year cost me 50$ not including shipping, he's selling six for 80$! For second time buyers and TONMO memebers! I'm excited. Going to replace sand tomorrow and put snails in soon.

Ok well here's the new plan. I'm going to use my 20g tall as a breedery for octos.
I'm going to order a 20g long for a zoo tank, and a 5g to keep the live foods in for the octos.
I may give away my 10g still looking for a use.
That's the updates!

The plastic ties are typically used to hold together electrical wiring. Any hardware store has them for about 100 for a few bucks. I just drilled a hole in the top of the PVC leg tube and looped it around the egg crate and cinched tight. Ping me a PM if you need a close up pic.

Is it true if you blend up a mushroom and pour it in the tank it will sprout all over the tank?

Yes but don't blend too well. I suggest a veggie chopper thing(I'm a guy, don't know a lot about kitchen electronics, sorry). I blended with a blender on low, and I blended too welL!
