Sorry but i am a newbie and I am just wondering what sump means.

It's basically the same thing as a wet dry filter, but instead of having bio balls I have a filter sock in its place.
Sump setup:
Filter sock over drain pipes
Protein Skimmer
Heater
UV Sterilizer
Return pump
