I have T5 lightimg and keep both a crocea clam and bta. I have 8, 56 watt bulbs, 10k's. My tank is a 150 gal, 25 gal sump/fuge. After bringing the bta home about a month ago, I was told it was bleached :notsure: It seems very healthy to me except its color is pale green, it has grown alot in the short time I have had it. I placed it at the top of the tank to ensure good lighting. But the first tay it moved down about 6 inches and is slightly shaded, but its firmly planted, and seems very healthy and happy where it is, and the color is abit darker then when I got it, but not much, could just seem darker cause its farther from the lights now
I do know it is certainly not dieng, I guess time will tell
My clam was placed on a rock at the top also. I bought a nice flat rock but it refused to stay there, jumped about halfway down to another rock, I moved him back up 3 times then he planted its foot there, so he is there for good unless he decides to move or shows signs of sickness, so far, he is just great! Opens fully and is very perky. But its only been a month, so I am guessing both these guys can still go bad.
