I am not too sure about the T5s. There are many that swear by them.
I would suggest keeping only a BTA under this lighting as far as anemones go.
Also, be sure to have your rocks stacked so the BTA can get as close to the lights as it wants.
As far as clams and SPS, keep them in the upper part of the tank and you should be okay.
Maybe someone with more T5 experience will see this and help. I am a MH man myself.

Shhhhh, dont tell anyone but I kept a cream colored Sebae Carpet for over 10 years under 1 40w full spectrum NO and 1 40 actinic 03 NO in a 23" tall tank. It got as big as the open space on the tank bottom.

I have T5 lightimg and keep both a crocea clam and bta. I have 8, 56 watt bulbs, 10k's. My tank is a 150 gal, 25 gal sump/fuge. After bringing the bta home about a month ago, I was told it was bleached :notsure: It seems very healthy to me except its color is pale green, it has grown alot in the short time I have had it. I placed it at the top of the tank to ensure good lighting. But the first tay it moved down about 6 inches and is slightly shaded, but its firmly planted, and seems very healthy and happy where it is, and the color is abit darker then when I got it, but not much, could just seem darker cause its farther from the lights now
I do know it is certainly not dieng, I guess time will tell

My clam was placed on a rock at the top also. I bought a nice flat rock but it refused to stay there, jumped about halfway down to another rock, I moved him back up 3 times then he planted its foot there, so he is there for good unless he decides to move or shows signs of sickness, so far, he is just great! Opens fully and is very perky. But its only been a month, so I am guessing both these guys can still go bad.
