What do you all think of the T5 lights that are on it. Sufficient for anemone/corals, etc?
Its from a custom tank manufacturer. I think ill buy it this week. I really like how the refu. is built onto the tank.

I think those lights look great and would be plenty for that size tank. Could you PM me some details?

Well i wasnt exactly dead set on running a living fuge. Reason being I have never actually used one. What would be the advantages of having a living fuge vs using a HOB protein skimmer in that area.
In the case of no AMAZING advantage what would be a decent skimmer to use on a tank this size. Previously I have used the CPR HOB and have loved it... Any comments?

well a skimmer is great don't get me wrong but a fug is 100 times better b/c it used what the skimmer usually takes out and the skimmer also takes out alot of good stuff, also the fug decreases the amount of algae that will grow in the tank no matter what and it increases ur POD population which is really great.
i would get the HOB fug for my 28 gallon but i have no idea if it will fit/run properly.

Wow, nice looking Nano. Might I be able to get a pm or email of the company also?

N/M, a quick google search of "custom nano tank" put the company right at the top. Keep us updated on how it works out for you, in the market for a nano.

Ok sweet. What exactly does a living fuge consist of? I guess id be a complete nub when it comes to the topic.

What I planned, as far as a fuge, in my cube was this: 2lbs of LR at the bottom, a wad of chaeto, and a small light. I would eventually like to add about 500 pods and start to let them do their thing. This way you get excellent natural filtration, as well as having an excellent source of renewable live food
I am also a noob, so someone correct me here if I am off base, but the main purpose of the fuge is to control your nitrates. Good luck and let us know how you make out with this set-up, it is very appealing!

when you are refer to "pods" you do mean copods right? I do not mean to jack this thread but I was wondering if I could do the same thing on my HOB emperor 400 biowheel? Cant i just take out the media filters and replace them with LS, LR, a wad of chaeto (spelling?) and a small light?
One responce will suffice I dont want to distract from this guys awesome new tank

you know I was looking at the pictures of the tank again and REALLY love that design. Could you PM me the name of the company that makes this?!?!
I think I understand this correctly but the water from the tank is going to flow through those slits in the plastic and fill up the back chamber then through the bioballs and baffles into the fuge and back out the pump? right?

Yes that is correct to eat away the nitrates and in turn keep the water nice and clear..
Thats a bad ass tank! wish i had something like that, so i could hide all my filter tubes..
