I dont think that stocking fish a little bit more than your 4 inches per gallon is going to stress the fish enough to bring the whole tank down. I am not doubting your knowledge by any means, but keeping an aquarium is not a concrete science. If it was, nobody would ever have any problems, and certainly nobody would have a fish die. These "rules" are guidelines, they are not perfect by any means. You can have 2 fish in a 220 and have more stress than a tank with 100 inches of fish. Just because you do not agree with someone does not mean that their tank will automatically crash, everyone has different approaches to maintaining a tank, and all of those things are variables in how many fish you can have. I said from the beginning that this was by no means written in stone (the fish list), these are just fish that I find interesting. I am asking if they will get along with each other and if the tank will be able to support them long term. If you dont think that it will, thats fine, let me know and move on. I dont know what you are trying to accomplish by bashing people for their opinions. Either way, you are entitled to your beliefs, and others are entitled to theirs. Thanks for your input, but I dont believe you are going about things the right way.
