ok...so i have ben looking up some stuff, and see that 24" bulbs will come in no more than 65W, is that correct??? has anyone found a 96w straight pin? i have a dual satellite over my 10...but i was thinking of bumping slowly up to a 20 long...or a reg 20...however with a 65W my lighting goes to 3.25 watts per gallon...and i know sometimes this doesnt hold much water, but its the only rule of thumb i know when it comes to lighting, it is a power compact. so would a 65 be ok over a 20 that may contain zoos, xenia, mushroom, gsp? or is there somewhere i can find a 96 w bulb, or can i add my 20w bulb fixture with it to make 85...itd bump that up to 4.25w/g....what do ya think? thanks

I have never seen a 24" 96W either. I think they only come in 36". You should be fine to keep the softies with one 65.

55w is 24", 96w is 36" in the square pin arrangement... dunno about straight pin. but yes, there are 96w straight pin bulbs on-line, of unknown length

i know there are 96 watt 33in....but not to 24" straight,, or whatever it is to fit my satellite...i'll have to see if i'll have enough room to fit the 20W light on it as well if 65W isnt enough...hopefully it is because i dont want to have to buy 100 lighting system...especially if i keep upgrading, hahaha. :joy:
