Do you guys recommend the current usa nano skimmer for this or should I go with a fuge with a dsb and chaeto in the back chamber?

I think chaeto in the back alone will do just the trick. Plus with a bag of chemipure elite

just some lr rubble and cheato will be fine. u'll need a light source back there tho...the nano skimmer is crap..i never used any kind of skimmer in my aquapod and it did fine..

No lr rubble. From the lack of flow back there it lr will collect detitrus. And you don't want that. Just read my nano refugium I made here. I explain everything well I think

im thinking of putting some LR rubble in a media bag, that way i can pull it out easily if i need to clean back there.

no don't put. Lr rubble at all. Unless you have it with mud and in a cup so that it can get flow. Read the refugium for all nano thread
