Hi thought I would share with you my new project.
240 gal 96x 24x24
4x 110 VHO act.
4x 250 MH ( there not on in any of the pics.)
feed back welcome
the tank has been up now for about 3-4 weeks and I will start adding the contents of my 125 and 90 to this one.

I want to put that lighting on my 95gal tank...you can say boiling water. Awesome tank, what kind of fish are going in?

yea that much lighting might be a little much for a 95 gal.

You are my hero, I want that tank in my wall!
Looks like he has the back of the tank blocked out, so not much light should get to it, But i wonder about heat!
You have a chiller?

yes symon is right I have a black acrylic backing on the tank.
the blinds are closed so not much light gets in at all. + it on the east side of the house so I get very little morning sun. I put it there becuse it was the only place that I thought would hold the weight of the tank..............so far so good whish me luck

Are you on a concrete slab or is there crawl space or basement? We have a 210 and had to support thre floor underneath(we have crawl space) very easy to do and better to be safe than sorry that is a lot of weight. Looks great, good luck and keep us posted

there is a finshed basement under it. but I think it will be OK. the floor studs are running east to west and the tank is N & S. there are spaces about 15-17 "apart so it is setting on several studs.
can you post a pic of your 210?

i dont have any pictures right now but you can click on my name and look up threads Ive started, you can see all the pictures from the making of the stand to the present with last pictures were taken in end of Feb.Let me know what you think
