240 gallon light recommendation

Getting ready to set up a 240 gallon looking for some suggestions on lighting was thinking about 3, 250 watt metal halides.any in input would be helpful.

Just kidding, i wanted to upgrade to atleast a 200 but the wife took my jewels and said no!

I have a 150 gallon w/ 3 - 250 watt halides. How deep is the tank, also what do you want to keep?

I have 3 Lumenarc IIIs with 400w 10K bulbs, lights the tank up really nice and evenly.
