I had a Tusk in with my Lion for a while and they did great for over 6 months. It was the miniatus that shredded my Wrasse within several weeks.
I think it was due to the small tank 75g, but hope to correct that using the large tank.
I have been reading more and agree with the butterflies. What about a Large Angel in an Agg tank, can they make it?

ya but u need to limit ur selection w/ them, i wouldnt put lions or sharks or rays. eels, more docile triggers, puffers, and other large agg fish should work well

Lionfish with most eels would never work
I agree and I would not mix eels and lions with the exception of a SFE, eels naturally prey upon lions. Even eels that are smaller than the lion may try, in this event you will end up with a lion that is stressed or a eel that is stung, either way you may very well end up in a lose, lose situation.

Sorry to disagree, but the day you see a SFE take out a Volitan, you call me ok.
