My business partner, her Husband & their friends are the original founders of the Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary in Las Vegas. They performed over 7000 Free or minimal cost spay and neuters in Las Vegas last year
Basic goal is the "Ground Zero" program which is to stop the reckless breeding of dogs and cats.....
They are starting an awarness program this next week in which they are going to form a chain of 25 THOUSAND dog collars end to end to raise awarness of this sensless killing of dogs and cats. People can sponsor a dog collar for $5.00 and 100% of proceeds go to the sanctuary to help cover the cost of the spay and nueter program

Part of the program is also the "Pups on Parole" program in which they have trained women prisoners at both of the local prisons to train dogs and break bad or destructive habits so that the dogs can be adopted out, otherwise the dogs would be put down. The program has been active for many years and was also featured on Cesar Millans's Show, the Dog Whisperer and was one of the top programs.....Local people call HCWS and say they have a problem dog, (even had one guy call and say if they didn't take the dog he was going to take it out in the desert and shoot it
)HCWS takes the dog to the prison, the woman prisoners re-train the dog and then it's adopted out.
