A few Pro's and Con's on the 2 fish having kept both.
Both potentially highly Aggressive fish, with the Sohal being the larger by quite a bit and having a worse rep., my Achilles was worse because my tank was smaller.
Both fish need careful tankmate planning and to be introduced at an appropriate time.
Pro of the Sohal is they are very hardy with Achilles being known to be difficult to get to adapt, again though once established both are VERY hardy....My Achilles survived a lot of beginner errors on my part.
Both are stunningly beautiful fish that are highly active and "engaging" (for lack of a better word) when someone is near the tank. I will say this much (it is my opinion though), put and 8 inch Achilles next to an 8 inch Sohal, and the Achilles is far more stunning...Not even close in Kirk's opinion.

Thanks for the insight, After thinking about it I believe I have decided on the achilles. I think it would look really cool with the black sand
I've also been thinking about my large angel selection. The queen is a must but i've thought about replacing the emperor. Would a passar be ok? I've heard they tend to be agreesive. I've also thought about a blue face, but heard they can be really reclusive. Any thoughts?

Hi Kyle!!!! Sorry was just watching South Park....Here are my thoughts there, again having both Emperor and Passer in my tank
I like the personality of my Passer a little better, he more sociable than the Emperor, but the only issue with the Passer is they are prettier as juviniles, than as adults. There is nothing cooler in the hobby (again, my opinion) than watching an Emperor change from juvi to adult. My adult Emperor is awesome, he grunts loudly. The two get along fairly well there is a little chasing, but not anything to worry about...If you do 2 "big angels", I would introduce them as similar sized juvi and at the same time. Make sure the tank is fairly established though, at least 6 months I would say.
Oh, one good thing about Passer, is they are often considered the most hardy big angel there is.....And don't get me wrong, my Passer is a beautiful fish, I only slightly prefer the Emperor on looks.

South Park is always good entertainment
You do have a good point on watching the emperor change, do you think they'd both get along the same with the queen? I really like the emperor it just seems that most people with angels have a emperor so that adds to my interest in the passer.
Since I'll be waiting at least another four months to add them I guess they will be the last fish and I've got time to decide.
Now I need to decide what to QT when the new clown and mystery wrasse is done. Since the large angels, anthias, and most likely the anchilles tang should have a more developed tank I was leaning towards either both dwarf angels or taking the leap for the crosshatch's since they hardier. Ideas? Does the achilles need to be one of the last fish due to aggression or is it mainly the last tang added?
Also does anyone know what my odds are of having zoas left alone by my stocking list. I'd like to slowly add some small frags but don't want to waste the time and money if they'll be lunch down the road.

Achilles should be last Tang in for sure....Dwarf Angels are often slow to accept prepared food as well, my Coral Beauty grazed on LR for a few weeks before eating what I offered. I would wait at least a little while on them. Crosshatch could work as an early fish in. I would consider the Crosshatch, not so much "territorially aggressive", just aggressive eaters. At feeding time the smaller fish in my tank know not to mess with the Crosshatch.
I had a nice group of Zoas on a Devils Hand I bought from a local guy, my Passer Angel really enjoyed them.
Zoas and Angels don't typically mix. Mushrooms are fine, and most softies have been ok.
Oh, as far as Angels, there are no bad choices.....I MUST HAVE a Grey Angel when I upgrade.

The achilles would be the last tang so do you think the tanks ready for him to go to QT in about 5 weeks then another 4 before entered into the DT. If so I'll add either him or the crosshatchs depending on which is available. Would you PM me your crosshatch contact info so I could check on the availability or to plan ahead for when he has a pair ready.
The grey angel is very sweet.

Here are some new pics of the QT additions and the hippo in the DT, the mystery wrasse is real small. The hippo is loving the DT.

Ok, would my best bet to manually remove it be to scrub it with a toothbrush then let the overflows remove it into a filter sock that I change out?
Are there any trace elements or such that I can add in order to stimulate mushroom growth or will w/c's do the job? Since mushrooms will be the main coral I have I'd like to work my water params to best fit them.
