28g Nano Cube

Hey yall,
I'm a new member of the website. I recently purchased a 28 Gallon Nano cube. (This is my first saltwater tank ever). I love the tank, but Im curious if anyone has ever removed the lid completely and just installed a bar LED light or another form of light instead of the bulky lid. Any suggestions? Or comments. Thanks!

Sure it can b done. Alot of your reef tanks r topless due to there lighting needs. The only issue is watch what fish u get. BC sum are jumpers. Wrasse,fire fish,ect

I have no idea lol. I have a fowlr so lighting isn't a big thing for me. R u looking to keep corals?
