My tank has cycled (very mild) but I can't get the pH below 8.4: tried the "Proper pH 8.2" product, still hasn't dropped, clogged up the filter??Caused bad surging, so I took out the filter and changed it...Which side goes which way, white vs. black side to right or left? The manual only diagrams the smaller biocubes...getting frustrated.Any suggestions or advice appreciated.

8.4 (as far as i know) isnt that bad, 8.2-8.3 is good, but im shure once you start to get your tank set up and running it should balance out. its probably high alkalinity or something, but im no pH expert, so ... yeah... ok thats all i got

the white part of the filter faces the end of the chamber and te black part with wholes faces the middle chamber.

the biocube is great but there ar modifications that will make it better...loose the bioballs, filter and use rubble and poly pad
