the 3.36 is a good retro kit but you dont need it. you can keep whatever you want under the stock lighting already.
not sps! and plus the MH will give nice color
What is the point of buying a biocube when you are going to spend a ton of money replacing everything? You could have bought a bigger aquarium and all the equipment needed to support it for the same price.
that is what i am saying. 300 for a sunpod and 250-320 for the biocube, you could buy a 28g nano hqi with lunar light, wavemaker, plus sand and liverock and saltwater.

I had the 4.36 upgrade for a while before I went with MH. You can keep any softie and most all LPS along with some montipora caps and digitata SPS. I found for the most part that the more colorful SPS would for the most part live but not retain their color and mostly turn a brown color.
You do have to lose the biocube cover with the Sunpod but there are other options to have s top that will keep fish in and let light in. I spent the money on the 4.36 and ended up with the Sunpod anyway. I suggest you go for the Sunpod if you want to keep SPS and clams anyway.
