29 gallon tank

The general rule is a 1/2" per gallon. With that figured, you could put in roughly 15 inches of fish. But I wouldn't get anything too too big.

well . if you add any more fish I would suggest something like a goby or firefish that doesn't produce much of a bioload

I would stop adding fish at this point, seeing as your clown depending on type will get 3 inches, your goby gets 6'', blenny 5", two damsels=8", and gramma adds 3", which comes out to 25" of fish in a 29 gallon tank. I have three fish in my 33 gallon, a maroon, gramma, pygmy angelfish which equals 11 inches and I was planning on one more 3" fish but I have 65 pounds of live rock in the tank and do weekly water changes. What kind of filtration do you have on this tank because unless it's really good you might want to consider returning the damsels, that would cut down your bioload to a better level and they may turn out too aggressive for your tank.

i have a cascade 1000 canister filter, and a seaclone skimmer, i have been thinking about getting rid of the damsels
