29 gallon tank

Well a hang on back filter be enough for a 29 gallon fish only tank with 50 pounds of live rock and 3-inch sandbed? I have two 20 to 30 gallon hang on back filters. Will I need a skimmer? I'm thinking about 10 fish. I'm going to figure out what fish later today.

I'd recommend additional waterflow, one or two powerheads in addition to the filter. You don't require a skimmer but it will increase your chances of success.
Do you have an idea of that fish you will choose? 10 fish sounds like about 7 fish too many to me.

For 29 gallon one powerhead is enough for maintaining the flow of water in the aquarium.
As the 29 gallon size in medium size and can be well controlled with one powerhead.
