well thanks to all your advice i got rid of my anemone and a few damsels changed my cc to sand and added 20 pounds of live rock (its only base rock so far i am gonna add soem good stuff) here are a few pics tell em what you think and what kind of algea is that and how do i get rid of it

I have a bunch of it and I havent got ridd of it yet. I am working on it though. Last week I added a phosban reactor to clean up the phosphates and yesterday I added a skimmer. Hopefully this would do it.

hey you could always get some things like fighting conchs or somethin to make shure that once its gone it wont come back just a suggestion

looks over stocked, how old is your tank, what are your nitrates/nitrites readings? do you tap water? or RO/DI water?how much do you feed? What do you feed. and what do you ahve as far as water circulation goes?
we need info to tell you how to get rid of the diatom/cyano.

it is a penguin i currently dont have a test kit cuz the one i had sucked and i need to get another so i couldnt tell you for circulation a have a powerhead not sure on the gph and i have the filter on full power i feed everyother day recently to keep the water down and i have no lights on for 12 hours a day the tank is about 3 -4 months old but had been runnign for about a year until i broke it down for a few weeks i had been using tap water but just started using distilled on my last water change which was 2 days ago and i plan to do another with distilled i feed my eel krill every couple of days and feeder fish every couple of weeks and my fish i feed wardleys flake food
