well thats a 300 without helping the ammonia spike. But anyway I lOVE the rock work! And do you have test kits? And like asked befor did you get this rock at a fish store or did you order it online.

Matt b i got the rock at my LFS and they said it was uncured

O and i dont have any test kits but i do have the thing that test the salt and i also went to the LFS and they did a test and told me everything was fine except my nitrates were a lil high

well i would invest in a test kit also if it was uncured rock you are going to get a spike soon so just have patience

Yea i was looking to buy some pretty soon and should i also buy a heater or cooler or anything else of that type of sort

you will need a heater. Like a 100watt would be fine and you can put it in the back.

Your tank is looking great so far!~ I absolutely LOOOOOVE the aquascape! Lots of little caves, nooks and crannies in there!

Can't wait to see the progression of your tank!~

Thanks KAT74 im really looking foward to getting coral and fish and seeing them grow but for now i should play the waiting game

O and how do i find out when im done with the cycle would i just have to buy a tester kit and just test it every week or so untill everything is fine and does anyone have any suggestions on things not to do or tips since this is my 1 SW tank and i really just go on what yall say and the people at my LFS and books that i read. and thank you all for helping me so far

The only way to know if your cycle is dont is to test. You will see ammonia spike then go down then see nitrite spike then go down then see nitrate go up then do a water change and you can start adding some snails and hermits and then you can add your first fish.

Just as matt says but also a good rule is to test the ammonia every day, and don't let the ammonia above 1.0ppm as this will kill any hitchhiker that came in on your rocks. After the ammonia has peaked and starts going down then just wait as matt stated.
