29g setup

im setting up a 29g and heres what i want to use a rena xp2 canister, 75#lr, 60#ls, 130w pc lighting,and i wanna keep 2 percs, coral beauty,lawn mower blenny, 25 hermitsand 3 turbo snails, sound good any suggestions? thanks for all.

i forgot ill be using a corallife super skimmer rated fora 125g, and i also want to keep xenia, frogspawn, leather toadstool ,maybe kenya tree

good luck fitting all that sand and LR in ur tank....
id say stick to around 40-50lbs LR and about 25-30lbs LS

the coralife SS 125 is gonna look larger than your tank, have you seen it in person? If its mexican turbo snails its too many for a 29g. If its astrea turbo snails its fine. 25 hermits way too many. I tried 20+ in a 30 gallon reef after it was well established and natural selection has brought the numbers down to about 6-8 which is what I should have done in the 1rst place. Little on the small side for the blenny and coral beauty but my LMB did fine for yrs in my 30 gallon until he went missing and I found his bones clogging my powerhead a week later. If you havent set it up already you might want to consider a larger tank for what you want to keep. Everything else you have planned (sand,liverock and skimmer) is already suitable for a much larger tank. Tank and stand itself would be the only added expense.

well i already have a new 75g and stand, and 250w heater, and ive already painted the back ground a nice deep blue. im ordering 80lbs of lr next friday. so as of now i have the rena xp2 canister , a 20w heater , thermoniter,and soon lr, any suggestions on what nest?thqans in advance.
