Reading about the story somehwere other than the propaganda pages of BSNBC

There are still looking into the source of the guns used, which were pistols but they suspect they were part of a purchase he made at a California gun range in January.
He would have had a hard time buying them on his way to DC as you can't buy from a gun shop out of state so how would he have passed a background check?
I imagine he bought them in California, but if he was resourceful, he could've picked them up anywhere along the way. There's a guy selling a 9mm in my local paper. I could call him up, make arrangements to meet him somewhere, pay him the cash he wants, and walk away with the pistol. There's no law I know of in any state that prohibits the sale of handguns between individuals.

Technically you are supposed to know the person or verify who they are, that might just be an Arizona law.
The guy might have bought them in the paper but like I said, they were looking into a purchase at a gun range. I really hope he did buy them used cause their isn't any way a man with multiple drug busts and mental problems should be able to pass a background check.

Come on, it's California. I thought everyone who lived there had some sort of drug-related or mental issue.
