2nd best to host clown

i have a new clown pair false percs. my first clowns and i want to get up a coral to host, not an anemia. i was thinking of a bubble coral, would that be the best thing, and if so could he live okay w/my mh lights. they have to go, so im focusing on swapping out corals for ones that dont HAVE to have mh. has anyone had luck w/bubbels and clowns? or know more info on bubbels also?

i used a fake anemone and my clown fish likes it just fine, its cheaper and easy to care for, my clown fish is not intrested in the corals but clown fish can use many things as a host i've herd such as plants, corals, anemones, fake corals, feather dusters, and even rocks. no use in buying a very expencive, vemonus creature that is hard to take care(anemone) of when you can use a fake coral or a live one. good luck though

what type of fake one did you use, all the ones ive seen are very rigid, i didnt think it would like.

i used on made of silky plastic stuff i don't know what it wascalled but in was a little softer then aplastic plant and much more flexible

My clownfish hosts in hairy (fuzzy) mushrooms. There is a bubble coral in there too but he loves the mushrooms. He lays down in them and rubs them like an anemone.

I have a pair hosting Xenia... I have a pair hosting Frogspawn... And I have a pair hosting Zoanthids... Not to mention the pair hosting an actual anemone...
