2nd best to host clown

i have a new clown pair false percs. my first clowns and i want to get up a coral to host, not an anemia. i was thinking of a bubble coral, would that be the best thing, and if so could he live okay w/my mh lights. they have to go, so im focusing on swapping out corals for ones that dont HAVE to have mh. has anyone had luck w/bubbels and clowns? or know more info on bubbels also?

I can't say I've seen clowns host bubble corals, but anything is possible. I would think that the clowns would irritate the bubble to much. I've seen many clowns host hairy mushrooms or sometimes toadstool leathers, but you just never know.

frogspawn, hands down, great coral and clowns host them, win win.

My clowns host my feather dusters. I have heard many people say their clowns host frogspawn.

You don't see clowns hosting bubbles very often. But I have seen them host these corals multiple times:
Frogspawn, torch, Xenia, shrooms, gioniopora, and a few more.

Since reading about someone on this forum having a clown that hosted their Power Head or another hosting a plastic anenome then I think they could host about anything. Mine is trying to host a Green Star Polyp

I have two large Bubble Coral in my tank and the clowns won't even host them. One host the large zoanthid colony and the other one host the Candy Cane Coral. Mine never bother with my Green Frogspawn, Pink Tip Frogspawn, Pink Tip Hammer, Long Tentacle Plate, and Xenia. They don't bother the over sized Green Star Polyps either...... :happyfish
