i have a 25 gallon hex with crushed coral and a couple pounds of live rock. i just got rid of 2 clowns and wanted some damsels. of these(blue devil),(green chromis),(neon damsel), and yellow damsel). what would be the best ones to put in this tank? can i mix them up or should i put all of the same fish in this tank? i figure i could get 3-4 fish in this tank. please help me? :D

with damsels you would only put one in a 25 2 would be stretching i think, i would consider chromis they are less aggressive and are a schooling fish

With proper filtration I'm sure you could get away with 3-4 green chromis.
They like to school.
Wouldn't advise mixing the others though.

The bigger and more aggressive damsel will pound and beat up on the smaller one they are very territorial.

OK, ARE GREEN CHROMIS ACTUALLY GREEN? I SAW SOME AT A FISH STORE AND THEY WERE REAL DULL IN COLOR, BARELY GREEN AT ALL. I WANT ALOT OF BRIGHT COLOR IN MY TANK. 2-3 DAMSELS OF SAME SIZE AND OF DIFFERNT COLOR WON'T WORK? I THOUGHT THE PROBLEM WAS IF THEY WERE SAME COLOR OR DIFFERENT SIZE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM WITH PUTTING THEM TOGETHER??? PLEASE CLARIFY THIS FOR ME.

depends on the lighting(and angle) for one thing, ours are dull, when the light first comes on(or they come out of the rock), but generally they have abright green/blue hue, which does appear to be both at times, and brighter lighting does help more too, ours have much brighter colors since moving them to our new tank with 10000k pc's vs. our old NOs

chromis arent that colorful. there are other damsels that will add action to the tank.. most are aggressive and will chase each other it you have one of every kind. the yellowtails are peaceful

what other fish are in your 25 hex, jordan, if no others, you can probably put 3 to 5 in there
