cant go wrong with zoos...never.....as for fake, as much as you want...at least start with a few different pieces around the tank to give them options

~ Buy 2, 2 liter bottles of pop
~cut the bottoms off, wash off stickers
~use paper punch to put hole into the
side of bottle for the air tubing
~air pumps, air tubing and 2 desk lamps
~Artemia cycsts
~Vita Chem Food enhancer
What type of tank and lighting were you thinking of.

sorry...giggle, I guess I need another cup of Joe. I like the tiny one Lisa gave to me. It automatically heats the tank to 75 and it's submersible.

what air tubing are you talking about??
is it the filter type thing that comes with like 1 gallon freshwaters??cause i have like three of those things

Just the little plastic, clear tubing you use to connect your air pump to your tank with.
