Ceeudopods(¿sp?) either my 50+lbs of live rock does not have any, or I do not know what they look like. Is there any way that you can buy them. I am going to get a Mandrine goby and I want there to be an abundint food saurse. the goby that I am going to get has been in my lf's tank for about 2months and their tank is not that good looking(in other words, Hardy fisH).
and does anyone know a websight that shows some good sump plans?
sorry, I forgot my third ??

They are tiny little bugs you will see crawling on your glass, substrate, rock, in your filter. Check your tank at night with a flashlight and see whats crawling around. Do not buy a mandarin unless your tank is well established and has around 100lbs of live rock crawling with bugs or the mandarin will surely starve within a couple of months.

I agree,Skip the mandarine. If your tank is a couple months old I garentee you have them. Check your filter media. They are small white shrimp looking bugs.About a month ago I added 2inches of sand to one of my sump chambers, and it's already crawling with two or three different types of them. STEVE

I really don't recommend a mandarin goby because of their food habits. If you absolutely have to have one, get a big old tank and wait until there's lots of copepods and such for it to gulp down. Otherwise it will die in a few months or less.
