i would be careful of stuff like that. decent liverock goes for about 2 bucks wholesale, which means you might be getting junk. if it's off that big

ok i actually paid 1.60/lb i didnt add up the actual numbers but its still a great deal compared to what ive been paying at LFS. yes i got it used from someone who needed more room in their reef, and i am going to pick it up thursday morning. the only thing im worried about is having my 29 look like a quarry! heck, for that price ill keep in in an extra tank in the basement.
how long do you think i should quarantine it?

Soak in r/o and scrub off any unwanted organisms.

I have boght live rock 20lbs for $20. The problem is, It had aiptasia all over it.

I've bought tanks locally and used the lr from the other tanks then sold the tanks to my ciclid friends. I've actually turned the tank for what i paid. So technically my lr was free.

yeah, Dip your lr in a higher salinity water. Wait a little bit, most bad critters will evac the rock.
