300 gallon/ 55 gallon refuge

I am considering a 300 gallon tank sometime (hopefully sooner than later) Right now I have a 55 gallon and I'm looking to make that my refuge. Is that too small. If it is what would you recommend for a 300 gallon or what size would my 55 work for? Thank you

for a 300g tank you would need at least a 100 gallon refugium. 55 is what I have for my 180.

i have a 55 sump for my 125DT. anything is better than nothing.

you could use 2 55's then one would be a realy nice fuge and all you would need to do is connect them with a bulkhead now you have a 110 but you should have at least 1/3 water in a sump just going by what everyone here has the % is 1/3 or more the more water you have the better to maintain constants
