300 gallon stocking list

Im getting a new tank... Any ideas for a stocking list for a 300 gallon agressive (anything from morays, groupers to sharks and rays)
I would really like a moray, maybe a shark with ray(s) and some colorfull fish like tangs, groupers triggers ect.
Everyone post your ideas :jumping:

I for sure want at least 1 moray (like tesselata, zebra, snowflake ect.) and maybe rays (my parents love those)
any agressive fish that can go with them

ok i have been dreaming of a 300 gallon and what i would put in it
1epoulette(sp)shark
2 cali rays
a green moray or a tessalatta eel
a purple tang
a blue or powder blue tang
i think that wou ld be the best tank ever!!!

I DON'T KNOW IF PUTTING BOTTOM DWELLERS (SHARKS,RAYS) WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA WITH LARGER MORAYS (GREEN/tessalatta)!!!DINNER!!!. MAYBE A ZEBRA WHERE THEY ARE MORE DOCILE. ALSO EELS NEED PLENTY OF ROCKWORK TO HIDE IN, WHERE AS SHARKS AND RAYS AND ROCKS DON'T GO WELL TOGETHER, THEY GET CUT EASILLY AND INFECTIONS START. IF I WERE GETTING A 300 I WOULD STOCK A BIG GROUPER, A QUEEN ANGEL, BLONDE NASO TANG, A PICASSO TRIGGER, A GOLDEN PUFFER, A ZEBRA MOREY EEL, A VOLITAN LION FISH,250-350 LBS LIVE ROCK AND CALL IT A DAY. I AM LOOKING TO SET UP A 400GAL. TANK IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND ALSO THOUGHT ABOUT GOING THE SHARK AND RAY ROUTE, BUT YOU ARE VERY LIMITED. A LOT OF THE LARGER FISH WILL HARASS THE SHARK AND RAYS, NOT TO MENTION 300 GALLONS IN MANY PEOPLES OPINIONS IS NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH ROOM TO STOCK MUCH ELSE.
GOOD LUCK, I THINK THIS IS THE HARDEST PART OF GETTING A TANK IS FIGURING WHAT TO PUT IN IT

do you know any fish that would be good with a larger moray (like tesselata, zebra, green ect.)

MOST FISH ARE FINE WITH A ZEBRA, AS FAR AS A GREEN OR TESSELATA THEY GET HUGE AND MEAN. I PERSONALLY WOULDNT PUT ANY FISH WTH THEM, THEY ARE NEARLY BLIND. THEY COULD LIVE PEACEFULLY FOR YEARS AND OUT OF NOWHERE MAKE A MEAL OUT OF YOUR FISH. I WOULDN'T BE WILLING TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE. I LOVE GREENS MYSELF BUT 6-8 FEET LONG AND AS WIDE AS A FOOTBALL!! I'D BE AFRAID I'D BECOME THERE MEAL SOMEDAY!!
I COULD BE WRONG BUT I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER SEEN ANYONE IN THESE FORUMS KEEP GREENS AND TESSELATA'S WITH FISH.

Would this be ok for a 300?
Would really like :
1 zebra moray
1 tesse
1-2 lions (any ideas of what specie)
1 puffer (any ideas of what specie)
Other fish that i like
1-2 trigger (s) (clown, red tooth/, niger , queen ect.)
1 -3 tangs (unicorn, naso, yellow ect.)
1 grouper (really like panther)
opinions? tell me if something is wrong...would the fish do ok together?

My problems with that list are the triggers. If you really want to consider lions, stay away from clown and queen triggers. Also, with all of those aggressive fish, I think you have to do volitans. They are the most aggressive and the most durable. Panther grouper sounds fine. 3 tangs sounds fine. A puffer sounds fine - you could do a dogface, stars and stripes, porcupine, golden, etc.
And as far as the eels, I am not going to comment on those because I would not consider myself an eel expert. I know you will be fine with the zebra, but I am not so sure with the tesse.

Are there any good triggers that i can have with those (moray, lion, puffer, grouper, tangs)
i also have a niger trigger in my other aquarium...could i put him in there?

Snowflake eel. I love mine, he is tame and ate out of my hand the third day!! Guess I just got lucky. They aren't as prone to eating fish either

well i have 2 snowflakes in my breeder tank...also there is some agression between the two somethimes...do u know anythin about it? how to stop it?... how do u get him to eat out of your hand?

you can add a bamboo shark or two. any rays are fine too. but don't get really big sharks like black tips.
