thanks guys!!! hopefully it'll be a couple of years for the little ones
as far as engagment stories go...our latest anniversary was the past week, but she had to work on the day that it was so i said we'd celebrate some saturday, and that i bought her present, nothing special just a $25 gift....so we are building a house...andvso i blindfolded her and drove around for a half hour every which way to confuse her...then drove to our new property where they just laid the foundation...i take her out of the car and take her to the back of the slab and face her to the road and front of the house. i tell her before she takes the blindfold off i have to set her present down and that she is not allowed to look behind her till i'm done...then i take off the blindfold and there we are...i had in my hand a blueprint of furniture etc that we drew up to place around our house...so we went through it partially...then got to the living room...where we started talking about the future and the little kids that will eventually be around...and i tell her how we'll sit with them here and tell them stories...i'll tell them how we met,etc...then i ask her what story she will tell them...she comes up with some silly story...and then i ask what else, and she says i dont know...so i say, well maybe you could tell them that this very spot here where we're sitting is where your husband proposed to you...then a light comes on from behind...and i walk her over to a light shinning down on a pedastel with the ring box on it...from there i proposed
she liked it and was surprised, so thats good enough for me.
