Do you have anything in there right now??
What did you have in mind??
For critters, snails, crabs, shrimp all do well in tanks. Any type of starfish should not be put into a tank until it is at least 6 months old.

depends on how good of filtration you'll have, the better the filtration the more bio load it can carry - to a certain point anyways.

any clownfish would do well in a tank that size, blennies or gobies too. pretty much anything that doent get much bigger than 8 inches or so would should be ok. if depends on the type of fish you want as to what you can keep together.

In a 30 gallon I'd stick with smaller species of Clowns.
I also think a "school" of Chromis would add more to the bioload than you want and as they tend to squabble I don't think that would be large enough.
I vote for Falco or Red Spotted Hawk, Percula or Occ. Clown pair, small blenny.

I would say a pair of Occelaris clowns, a pygmy angel and a citron gobie or Rainford gobie.

You stated in your first post for fish and critter ideas. What I mean by critters are your clean up crew, snails, crabs, shrimp. Even if you want a FOWLR you still need a clean up crew too.
I have a 25 gal and it houses:
1 coral beauty angel
1 maroon clown
1 yellowtail damsel
1 four stripe damse
All these guys get along really well, I was a bit worried about the 4 stripe as it was the lates addition but he seems to have taken residence with the yellowtail and all four fish get along and swim all over in the tank together. There is no real pecking order there. I guess I am lucky they are like that.
But as mentioned you can have:
clowns
dwarf angel
gobies
blennies

in my 39-gallon, I have two false percs, flame angel, copperband butterfly, orange-spotted blennie, yellow watchman goby, royal gramma, two cleaner shrimp, crabs, brittle star, snails, pencil urchin. Had all of them for 6 wks and all are doing well. Good luck and enjoy!

If you post the fish you would like to have then everyone here can help you with the selection if they are suitable for that size of tank.
