Mine's been set up for about 10 months. This size, for me anyway, has been really pretty easy to maintain. I'm thinking about setting up a 46gal bow front this coming year...we'll see.

yeah i found my 38 fairly easy to care for as long as i do my weekly water changes i havent had any problems. I wish i could upgrade I want a 120g and convert my 38 into a sump for it but dont have the money or the space maybe in a few years a upgrade will happen.

yeah thats my favorite

But i do like my 2 false percs also...Looking to add one more fish probably a dwarf angel but havent decided which one. Was really interested in the flame but i guess you need at least a 55g for them and i dunno if i wanna push my tank by putting him in there.

Lisa,
Nice looking tank. I had a 90 gallon but i like my 40 much better. They are easier to maintain.

Really??? I was under the impression that the bigger the tank, the easier it was to keep!! How has cutting the size down made things easier? I'm curious.
Thank you for the nice compliment...I really love my tank.

I have a coral beauty angel in my 37, and she does great. She's in the pic of the full tank I posted this morning, lower right hand corner. She's very peaceful and just goes about her business. She and my female perc hang around sometimes like a couple of school girls.

I hate doing water changes and on a 90 I was doing 10 to 15 gallons aweek. Transporting water around sucked. The 90 was also to high to work with. With the 40 I just do a 5 gallon change every week takes only 10 min and Iam done. I supose if I had a sump/refugium on the 90 I could of cut the water changes down to 5 gallons but overall I like the looks of the 40. Its also cheaper when it comes to chemicals and salt. I guess iam basically a little bit on the lazy side.
