You already have the lawnmower blenny. How long have you had him for?
And I wouldn't do a tang in a 40g.

I don't think a tank or a angel would work in a tank that small. Then again, I don't know to much about dwarf angels.

The dwarf angelfish is perfect for what you want. They nip algae and add beautiful color. The Kole (yellow eyed) tang is best suited for 75g or larger, besides it's a dull colored fish and won't add any beauty to the tank at all. My favorite is the Lemonpeel...bright yellow with blue around the eys, gills and on the very edges of the fins....really pretty.

Well, a Yellow Tang is a very different beast from a Yellow Eye (Kole) tang...which do you happen to like? I happen to like Kole tangs, myself....though I prefer the lighter colors and blue eye of a Blue Eye Kole.
Either would be too much for a 40g tank, though.

LOL...the Kole needs a 75g or larger tank...the Yellow Tang a 6 foot tank at least...OP only has a 40g breeder tank. I didn't care for the Kole tang..he was so dull in color. I had him as part of the CUC, he was a healthy fellow and I had him for quite a while...he died as well as my Hippo and Lemonpeel when my power was out for 4 days. I relaced the dwarf angel,, but not the tangs.

I have a 75, i'm going to try either a kole or a yellow, but its going to be the last fish I add, and if it doesn't work out i'm going to donate it.
