Hello Everyone!
I Just bought a 43 Gal Long and I would love to make it into a reef!!
Now, I'm debating between a HOB refugium or a sump/refuge. Anyone has tried either of them?
The HOB seems like less of a hassle but the sump one could make my tank look better with less things hanging on the back of it!
Tell me your opinions!
Also how much flow if i go with the sump? it will be a 10 gal sump/refuge.
Moving on.
How deep of a sand bed on the display tank if i decide to have some gobies?
Just to be sure i have enough for them.
I was thinking of some "yellow watchman goby, yellow clown goby, Orange spot prawn goby and the panda bear goby"
Also, Would they get along?
Also I would have Ocellaris Clowns and a couple of green chromis.
As for filtration, should the refugium be enough or can I add a Canister Filter that I have laying around somewhere.
I will add a skimmer as well.
I havent thought of any corals so please share some good starter ones!
Hopefully is not too much to ask!
