BALLAST & HOUSING
· This supreme HIGH OUTPUT METAL HALIDE GROW LIGHT ballast and components are housed in an OPEN AIR BALLAST HOUSING. Not like other enclosures that house the ballast inside a metal box, which causes too much heat build up and lowers the component life span and performance – The HIGH OUTPUT metal halide GROW LIGHT ballast housing incorporates an OPEN AIR type enclosure. The housing is built around copper coil ballast allowing the heat made by the ballast to dissipate fast and safely. The big problem of electrical components such as ignitors and capacitors is excessive heat. Components like the ignitor and capacitor are housed away from the ballast inside their own small enclosure thus keeping them cool and away from the heat made by the ballast itself. Our ballast housing design is tested in industrial and commercial H.I.D. operations all around the world. The OPEN AIR design of the HIGH OUTPUT METAL HALIDE GROW LIGHT keeps the components much cooler than enclosed style ballast.
· It comes with a 6 foot 120 volt power cord and a 10-foot ballast to reflector cord.
