OMG
Your tank could be a good guideline for a friend of mine to follow. He's setting up a 46 BF reef as well. Keep us posted.

Dude,
Absolutely great pics....!!! Anyone with some pics to inspire me with my 55 gallon?
Quick question....
Any suggestions on the background of the tank? Is there some wallpaper or do you spray paint it? Is there a special glass paint? Navy blue, black, bright blue.......? Any opinions? Thanks a bunch!

I have two tanks both with dark blue backgrounds that I got from *****. Cut em to the right size and tape em on, simple as that. In my opinion painting the background kind of stinks(no offense to anyone) because if you ever decide that you want to change the color you cant. I could change my background in 2 minutes.

THis is a pic from today. I took out all the live rock and started over because I had to remove a fish that was causing problems. I like it better. You can see the new plumbing as well in the middle, much better. This is with another 15 pounds of live rock as well. Can hardle see the overflow box now.

How many pounds of LR do you have in your 46? Looks like a lot!!! And how much of LS do you have? Looks like an awesome tank!
How are you keeping the live rock from falling over onto itself? You have a neat tunneling system. Did you tie the rock together?
P.S.
Were you in the service? Armor maybe? I saw a shell from a tank round in one of your pics. It's to the right side of the pic with the empty 26 gallon bowfront.

Your tank looks awesome, I am setting up a 46g. bow front a s we speek its cycleing right now. I am only going to have a 10 gallon sump and a 5g. fuge above it. I wanted to have a bigger fuge but I can't fit it because I will have a 5 gallon auto top-off witha kalkwasser reactor. I am gonna buy the lights in the next week or two its going to bea 250 watt hqi and will upgrade to 2 of them in the future. I love your rockwork and your whole tank. I got 40lbs. of liverock right know and am hoping to have about a hundred before I start adding corals from my 20 gallon tank.
