Love your tank. I really like that bow front look instead of the parted pannel glass. And great job with the lr..hubby and i are huge fans of not over doing it with lr. And the sand you picked is beautiful

How much LR are you going to have when you get it and do you have refugium? I also have a 46 gallon tank and just lost my scooter blenny after 6 months to starvation and don't want you to do the same. If you get it wait AT LEAST a year, I waited 6 months and have 100 lbs of LR.

you are very right i am not going to put that much lr in it for about year or so im keeping all that for now. i also still have to get a metal halied (sp) so its still a very young imature (sp) tank. and about the refugium my dealer said that i dont have to worry about it.
but i do have a canister filter i might worry about later. and there is nothing realy to talk about my skimmer.
ill remember that. but my dealer also said that i was ok to put mandrins in, in about a month, i also , just about 5 minutes discoverd the biggest bristle worm ever!!! he had to be at least 3 inches long

never run into any "dealers" I would trust....all seem to be money driven
U DONT NO MY DEALER SO STOP HARRASING ME!! jk my dealer isnt that money driven he even tells me not to buy things that i might not need, i really do trust my dealer.
Alright well he may not be money driven, but not educated, on Mandarins specifically. The only things they eat are pods, and unless added by the bottole, pods are only found in mature systems. Most mandarins die after 4-6 months of starvation.
