48" 2X150MH HQI 10k bulbs in it, 2X96W PC 03s in it (bulbs need to be changed
the MH ballasts are seprate from the hood to lower heat and weight on top of the tank
this hood is alittle over a year old and i bought a 135 gallon tank that has the proper lighting so im shutting down my 75 gallon
ASKING 400 might be willing to trade/with cash so you dont have to fork out 400 cash

What exactly do you mean by the metal halides are seperate from the hood? Isn't it all one piece?
Also, does it have any built in moon-lights?

the ballasts are not on the hood for the MH, the PC ballasts are in the hood, it has 3 blue LED lights with built in cooling fan also, the MH lights are in the hood yes

yes if you put the good bulbs in it its going to cost 180 dollars for the new bulbs
if you went for the cheap ones, then it would cost 140 around...

This is a good system. I have one for my 75g and paid $700 new for it. The moon lights are 1w each and look great at night.

i love this hood, i just dont want to run 2 tanks is all, and i just bought a 135 gallon tank on top of the 150 gallon tank i just never had enough money to get it going the way i wanted, and the 135 had every thing i needed, so now i broke down the 150 and turning it into a breeding tank, and the 135 is going to be my DT sence it has a pretty stand and conopy
i looked at the costs of this hood real close and what it would take to replace the bulbs, i will sell it for 300 not any less and it would be shipped at your expense, i paid 844 for this hood at a web site i cant mention ( or the risk of being banned ) but if you want to know where ill have to have a Email
at frist i didnt want to ship this hood, its going to cost alot to ship its big and its heavey...dosent make a good shipping package think about that befor start jumping up and down

it dose not have built in timers, if i could i would link you the site where i got it, it gives all the specs and every thing, so if you want to know all the specks just shoot me a EMAIL at my PM here as i check it daily
