What I was told when I asked about corals and compact lighting you can keep most soft corals for example mushrooms, leathers, zoas, kenya trees, green star polp. Maybe some lps's if you keep em close to the lights. im sure some other ppl can chime in with some others you can keep.

Thanks for the input! I'd like to keep some frogspawn if possible.

I have that fixture on my 90 along with some t-5's and I can keep alot of things under that. If your tank is really deep then you will need some suppliment lighting along with it to keep alot of the sps in my experience. but if it's shallow I have the coralife pc fixture on my nano alos and am able to keep birdsnest, bubble coral, torch, zoas, shrooms and softies.

if it's a standard 55 then you can keep the lower light LPS like bubble corals in there along with the shrooms, zoas, and softies like leathers, xenia, and kenya trees. if you want to keep something that needs a little more light then you must put it at the very top of your rockwork. Either that or later on get some t-5s or metal halides to add to your pc's. then you can keep a ton of stuff.

i had that light and upgraded to t5HO's but with that light i kepted a open brain, acans, torch, trumpets, octopus coral and you can keep softies. i wouldnt suggest trying sps corals with the pc lighting though...

Just wondering what corals i would be able to keep with these lights. Any one know?
I have the exact same lighting on a 75 gallon tank. I have been running it for nearly two months. My mushrooms are really growing, polyps are reproducing, zoas ar doing well9I've not noticed them spreading yet. Xenias are going crazy. I also a frogspawn and hammer coral, and they are both doing well, growing a lot. And a toadstool.
I was told I could do the softies, LPS and maybe
a select SPS. I've not risked an SPS yet. Brains should also work for you.

Does anyone know if i would possibly be able to keep an anemone? I'd like to get one for my two percula's. If so, what anemone would everyone recommend me trying.

ive had a Seabae Anemone with 2 FPCs for over 4 months now, no signs of problems. I have the same lights. I also want to get some corals this week and sounds like this forum was what i need also.
