im selling my odyssea 48" double 175 watt metal halide/T5 combo unit. only used for about 4 months, great shape, its the new model with the built in timer to the ballast. two fans etc. everything is in PERFECT condition. Bulbs are 20K its a plug N play unit , comes with mounting legs as well to sit on your tank or hang in your canopy. close to 500 watts total! looking to get $325 local pickup or i WILL ship for as reasonable of a price as possible!
im only selling this because im upgrading to a larger tank and these wont fit. if i didnt need the money i would keep them! great light with lots of growth under it! i would never complain about this unit! and there is a thread that proves how much i loved using it in the equiptment forum

Why so much for this unit? You can now get the Odyssea 48" fixture with 2 - 250 watt MH and PC actinics BRAND NEW for $329.

:mad: some poeple just never know how to mind their own buisness.. if you dont want it dont post on it! and your right you can get it for 329 new plus 69.99 shipping! BUT THERE ALL OUT OF STOCK AND HAVE BEEN FOR 2 MONTHS NOW!( which means the free shipping doesnt matter since they have none )
beleive me im not ripping anyone off i bouhght it at 399.99 plus 60.00 shipping 4 months ago..
ALSO THE PC UNIT IS ALOT CHEAPER THAN THE T5 UNIT.. WE ALL KNOW T5 IS BETTER AND MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PC

Get mad if you want....I just asked. I was interested in the light for a large propogation and like any good consumer, I checked out what they cost new.
The light I am talking about has more watts for 4 dollars more for 2 - 250 watt MH than what you want for your 2 - 175 watt MH.
Furthermore, the unit that you have they sold for as low as $299 brand new.
Get mad, I just think it is way over priced.
As I said, I was interested until I did some research. Shame on me for looking up what I considered buying.

im not getting mad but you didnt look up the right units thats for sure, or take a look that NOONE has them anymore for the last 2 months. and its o.k if you think it was overpriced your entitled to an opinion but i dont understand why you have to post just to bust my butt thats all...AND when they did sell for 299.99 the shipping as i said was 69.99
also i think im only about 30 minutes from milton
