I bought this really cheap and love it. It's easy to build your own legs for it with plexiglass if you can't find any that fit. I don't really like the light bulbs that came with it but it's worth it even if you replace the bulbs. I had no problems with these lights.

There is no way you could have hard corals with those lights but you could have some soft corals and the jebo 4x55 watt pc light wouldnt happen to be off ---- would it. Because I ordered one off those same exact lights 2 weeks ago for my tank and the guy "aqua somethin or other" Still hasnt sent it. But i will admit, it was a very good deal.

The Jebo lights are a good "value" if you understand what your getting...
They are an inexpensive imported unit (they drop ship from containers, so that can sometimes cause a delay, usually they post it on the e-bay site)
The "fixture "body" is solid and well made...the transformers are good...there are no end caps, lights are direct wired (keeps cost down, and works well enough)...the 10k lights are OK and work well on my "fuge" (which may mean they are a little low in spectrum)...the blue lights are junk, not true actinic, and should be replaced...
It would be hard to find the transformers for a DIY or retrofit for the cost of the whole unit, so replacing the bulbs with quality brand really does not detract from the overall "value"...

I bought this light from the same seller, 'aquadeals' or something on ----... not a bad light for what it is. It does the job for my 75 gal fowlr but keeping corals would basically be impractical. Some people might tell you its ok for soft corals... I wouldnt even chance it. The light isnt exactly well built, its basically a big hunk of plastic without endcaps and included cheap (fake actinic) bulbs. I got exactly what I expected - nothing more. A good rule is 'you get what you pay for'. It arrived fairly quickly in my case, I got it within 10 days. If you plan on keeping corals, do yourself a favor and invest in a quality light from the beginning. This isnt a cheap hobby and I realized this with my first tank (a 75 fowlr) - which cost me roughly two grand. Ive actually been holding off setting up my new 72 bow reef due to an upcoming move, and because I wanted all high quality components this time around. My new lighting unit will probably run $300-500. Dont make the same mistake I did!!!

Squidd, you are partially correct. Its part plastic (the sides are a silver plastic). The top portion is aluminum however. Not exactly high quality.

Do the lights make the tank look clear or does it make the tank look yellow like some other lights do. A pic of the lights on your tank would be really appreciated.

I got mine within a week, if I remember right. I don't think I have any pix of that tank anymore, but I'll check. Iv'e since used that light to retro a nano tank but the lights made it look pretty good. And, yes, the seller was aquadeals.

This is 1/2 of the fixture over my fuge...Main body is aluminum, "side cap" (facing you) is plastic, reflector is stainless steel as are the bulb mounts...
I got the 4X55 (which is 48" long) and cut it in half...I then "reassembled" 1/2, one transformer, 2X10k bulbs and placed it over my fuge...
I took the other 1/2 and used the transformer, wiring and reflector as a "retrofit" for actinics in my reef canopy...(I did replace the bulbs with true actinics)
Over all, I ended up with two-2X55 pc light "sets" for slightly over $100...
The lack of end caps concerned me for a bit...but I've come to the conclusion that it's no big deal....I can show you pics of lots of "burned out" end caps (I think they may actually "hold" moisture in causing corrosion) "IF" I do end up with a problem with the "direct connect" I can cut an inch or two of wire off and crimp on a new terminal (cheap)...
They've been running 8-9 months now and I have had no problem with corrosion, or heat build up, or burning out, like I've heard about the LOA lights...
I still think they aer a great "value" for PC lighting...As long as you know what you are getting and you understand their limitations...
As far as running them over a reef...You have the same PC, VHO, T5... vs. MH limitations...Obviously, the "recomendation" would go to the MH set up...
