5-10gal. mushroom showcase

I love mushroom corals and when my turtles go outside this summer I plan to use 1 of the 10 gal. or buy a 5gal. to showcase mushroom corals. what are the best types of mushrooms IYO?
also, what else should I put? i know i'm gonna get a cleaner shrimp and maybe a neon goby, but is there anything else?
P.S. if a moderator comes by this can you move it to the reef discussion please, It seems more appropriate for corals and i think i'll get more answers

I would take it up with you in PM's if the board permitted the same. But since they don't, i would not want to waste server space and bandwith arguing over a stupid thing with you.

well, that's fine, but since the board permits pics if i knew how to post pics with a scanner I would post pics of the injuries inflicted upon the bullies in my neighborhood when they messed with me. and If you'll look at prev posts you'll know your the 1 who started this.

The water volume in a 5-10 gallon honestly is not that much. I personally wouldn't house any fish in the tank. The tank is too small to house them when they are full grown. Better leave off on the fish. You might be able to have a very small clean up crew consisting of a few Astrea snails, Turbo Snails, and maybe a cleaner shrimp.
As for mushrooms, it's really all on personal preference. Bulls Eye, Ricodora, etc., can all be used. I would try to keep only a single species in your tank (EX: Only Ricodora), as they can sting any nieghboring corals.
You will also need some good filtration on that tank. Probably some live sand, as well as liverock will handle all of your biological filtration needs. You won't need a skimmer, or sump for this setup. You should also buy a mini Maxi Jet Powerhead for some currents, as well as 2, 16wt PC's for some good lighting. I would go with a 6, 500k and a "03" actinic. www.hellolights.com has great deals for all sorts of lighting.
Don't want to add any fuel to the fire, but have a bit of patience. It can take a couple hours to get a single reply. You replied almost 15 minutes apart from eachother, and after a couple of hours from starting this thread, you've only got a single reply regarding to the question. thanx, graham, I'll admit, I'm just not a patient person when it comes to things like internet and games, ect. but lets just hope i can be more patient with my tank and not be like Badbrad, lol

BangGuy....I can delete here and in this case probably should...but I think I'll take this opportunity to express an opinion.
This is not a chat room!!!!
These boards are set up for exchange of information/experience...lately several new members seem to think they can use these boards as some sort of personal chat room/playground. In my opinion it is becoming a bit of a problem ...most posts are mundane and worthless. Seems some of the current members should simply perform a search prior to posting senseless questions and not use this as a chat room for endless topics with little to no merit.
Sure....fill a 10 gal with a ton of shrooms...whichever ones you want.....and they will possibly survive slightly longer than this childish thread!!!!!
Maybe the above vent was out of line ... but the endless threads with random pointless topics and constant chatter for the sheer pleasure of posting is way out of hand!!! Now I'll climb down off my soap box and close this thread.:cool:
