One more Q.When i was looking at a website to get my dsh i read that if i ordered the dsh and a pipefish that they would be small.Do you think this is a good idea?

they said the pipefish would be small or the ponies would be small? Anyone you buy them from is probably going to send you younger ones that hatched recently.
Which part of them being small are you worried about?

The web site said that the pipefish would be shiped smaller to go along with the dsh im just wondering if its a good idea to put them in the 5.5 together.

otherwise pipefish get fairly big and need larger tanks

how many dwarf sea horses can i get in a 14 gallon tank and how many did you start with?
any thing special you did to get them to breed or do they just breed alot? also where did you get your sea horses?

I started with 9 nothing special to get them to breed.I dont think i can post the link reed my thread and its there.You can get 50 in a ten g.I would say about 65.
