5 gal..........will this work?

Hey all,
I have a 5 gal. that a buddy gave to me. Will this work as a QT tank, or is it to small? I was thinking of using 5 gal. from my 65gal. if a fish was to get sick. Is this a bad idea? I would put a little filter and heater to keep the water temp up to par.

It's a bit too small - I'll tell you why - to keep a tank that small with high quality water requires too much maintenance, besides if you get a decent sized fish it'll die from claustrophobia.
