5 gallon eclipse hex lighting

I just got an eclipse 5 with a 10W PC light... I was trying not to modify the hood any, but will the coralife 50/50 mini compact light (20W) be safe in there... Heat and ballast wise??? I am only wanting zoos and polyps in there and I might put some xenias from my large tank in there just to try.. Will these work/thrive in that lighting (being 10W for now)?? Or will moving up to 20W do it (if its safe)?

with such a small tank the 10w will work, the watt amount will not make much of a difference on that small of a tank, 10W will be able to penetrate deep enough and give off enough light for low light softies.

OK...well I wait and see... I put some zoos and some gsp in there just to see (from my large tank).. but the tank is 2 days old so many things can be not right at this point... not cycled... not the right calcium levels, ALK.. etc. Just making sure....
I want to get the 20W though, will that catch fire or over heat?

no it wont catch fire or over heat, if your worried about the heat on the tank, wire up 2-3" computer fan and have it set on the timer the light is on.
